Dennis Group Springfield

The Developer will be expected to work on SharePoint Framework (SPFx) applications for Microsoft SharePoint and/or Teams, as well as perform basic developer and administrator tasks, on an as-needed basis.

Direct experience with SPFx development is not required but is heavily preferred.

Duties

Performs SharePoint developer tasks to include, but not limited to:

• Creating, modifying, and deploying custom SPFx applications using TypeScript

• System integrations to and from SharePoint via Graph, REST, and/or external APIs

• Site creation, maintenance, and identification of possible enhancements

• Keeps abreast of new technologies, explore new product and tools, and provides recommendations to be considered for increased efficiency.

• Updates documentation, processes and customer support documentation as needed.

• Performs all other duties as assigned.

General Experience

• Experience with SharePoint site requirements, setup, testing, deployment, and permissions administration

• Experience with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS

• Basic understanding of Git, Visual Studio Code (or a similar IDE), and Node.js for application deployment

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Must be able to collaborate and communicate effectively within a small team

Desired Experience

• Power Automate cloud workflow design and testing
• Previous working experience designing and testing SPFx applications
• Knowledge of C# and PowerShell programming desired

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of general programming experience; JavaScript and/or TypeScript preferred
• General experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel, in an office or academic environment
